A parcel was on the doorstep when we got back from the gym, a parcel which turned out to contain tasty food treats, but was unidentified as to donor. Completely anonymous! And when the post arrived, there was a card with nothing inside it but the printed 'Merry Christmas'. Completely blank!

Beast got the tree out of the garage this morning. There was a butterfly on it, a peacock. It was opening its wings briefly and randomly, but I failed to get a photo at the crucial moment, or I'd have posted it. The butterfly, now inside the house, has disappeared. I expect it can find a dark, quiet corner somewhere.
