Vibrations

Well, *really*!!

On the brink of going to sleep last night, and the radiator started vibrating in a most peculiar way. Beast got out of bed to investigate but was baffled and came back. He, naturally, fell asleep almost at once.

And now I find it was an *earthquake*! This is Not Acceptable. This is England, dammit, we Do Not Have earthquakes here. Really, what is the world coming to?

I know - how cool is that? Just like LA!

We felt it all the way in Norfolk. Bet the cattle were surprised.

indeed!!!

(in other news, I've only ever actually felt ONE earthquake ever and it was Christmas Eve in '99. I only remember THAT because it was my son's first Christmas)

I like to think the earthquake was a small concession to you guys knowing what living in NZ is like. And somewhere in my very confused brain that means I'm sort of vaguely going to be at Camp Sparkle, which makes no sense, but hey!

And GUH to your new banner.

My sister & brother-in-law both slept through it :-)

Now I'm off to see Greenwich, see you tomorrow!
