I do like the way the story is told - it's nice to have a tv show that takes its time - though it made it difficult to get 'hooked' by any one of the storylines until at least episode three.
My son is watching (season one, we're about half-way through) for the third time, having seen it once and been rather baffled, then re-watched with his big sister explaining a fair bit of stuff. He's very enthusiastic about the show, which is nice! It's interesting, watching with him: because of his Asperger's, he doesn't pick up on things... Claire's "parents" for example. I was sure they were not really her biological parents, but I couldn't explain to him why I thought so.
