LOL I remember that phase. I was kind of turned off by that too.

I remember when a few people jumped on me for mentioning a play where someone was 'playing' him. I said I know he isn't really in the play, I was just wondering if he'd heard or what he thought. Or even if he would go to see it.

Just wanted to speculate. :-/
