And fabulous sneakiness on Col; I knew he had to be somebody, but somehow I got it into my head he was dark... ..probably just a reference to sun-tanned skin (he's the night captain, though?) or just 'cuz he was on night shift; I mis-interpreted... ..and I've been WAITING for Nick to show up somewhere since Erryn's appearance and the reference to an older brother, but this caught me by surprise, nicely done. Actually, after the oddity and Lans' confusion after confessing their secret to Col, I was momentarily petrified he was for some reason going to sell Erryn out to Loupe's remaining felons... ..nice that that particular paranoia proved false, lol.
