Snowflake Challenge, Day 10

In your own space, talk about a creator. Show us why you think they are amazing.

Well. I'm going to maybe take a slightly different tack, and talk about a popslash author and artist who has been a part of the fandom for several years, but in particular, to talk about her as someone who's been a terrific contributor to the joy that is the Popslash SeSa challenge since 2006.

Luxshine

In 2006 (the last year of DWNOGA), she wrote one story and co-authored another.
In 2007 (first year of MTYG), two stories.
In 2008, one story
In 2009, two stories.
In 2010 wrote one story, co-authored another.
In 2011, wrote *three* stories.

These stories include: Before the Audition, a lovely AU in which the Boys are actors, and Howie and Brian audition together and get roles in a musical (in which Brian cuts his hand with a chainsaw, and Howie gets disembowelled—awesome stuff!).

The Boyband Spirit, in which Nick is tired of it all but Kevin is not.

The Defense Rests, in which Kevin is a lawyer who has a crush on one C Kirkpatrick, public defender. (I'm pretty sure I asked for and got a follow-up to this one.)

The totally charming Love, Seriously, in which a statue of St Anthony is invoked and the god of love pays Brian a visit.

In addition to picking up some heavy duty pinch hitting, [livejournal.com profile] luxshine also tries to produce a SeSa reaction post which says something nice about every single story in the challenge.

*And*, she offers to produce chibis for the MTYG Heroes. (I'm betting she *is* an MTYG hero who regularly sends everyone feedback, too.)

Is that awesome, or what?

Luxshine was the very first person to leave me feedback - it was midafternoon on Christmas Eve Day and I hadn't even checked to see if the stories were live yet, when I saw I already had feedback in my inbox. It was sweet and detailed, too; I could tell she had put a lot of thought into it. I was pretty impressed. She's obviously very dedicated to MtYG.
