Snowflake Challenge, Day 13: In your own space, ask for recs. Something as simple as "I like XYZ (where XYZ is a kink, a pairing, a trope, etc) - please rec me some."
Well, this isn't quite my usual request, but I'd like some slashy porn, please. Something that's about half story, half porn would be ideal, particularly in a fandom I'm not familiar with. D/s is fine, incest not so much.

In other news, the garage door came off its hinges today. Quite exciting, I was trying to open it and one side went up while the other went very much down. We had to scoot off to Body Pump so couldn't do anything with it until we came back. Fortunately, Beast is both reasonably tall and mechanically minded, so it is back in place. But we've left the car on the drive...

Summary: The stargates have suddenly stopped working in Pegasus, disrupting trade and leaving four Atlantis reconnaissance teams stranded. When the Travelers come to Atlantis to ask what is going on, John and Rodney take Ronon and a couple of scientists with them on Larrin's ship to go investigate the problem and get their people back. It leads to John and Larrin finally acting on their mutual attraction, though their casual relationship gets more complicated when Larrin brings Rodney into the mix. John struggles with his feelings for Rodney and how this could change everything, especially when they'll go back to Atlantis. Through it all and while hopping from planet to planet, they'll face emergency situations, a brush with an old foe and of course they still have the stargate network to fix, at all costs.
It has a bunch of tiny word problems that a good edit would have caught, but it doesn't interfere too badly with the story.
