They are (probably) sisters, rescued from a place where about a dozen cats were being badly neglected. The animal sanctuary must have done a great job on them, as the six cats I saw in one 'cell' all looked clean and healthy. These two were in with four other siblings/possibly a mum, and were paired up because Sable is more confident when Fluffy is with her. I liked the idea of cats with different personalities, and as we have no noisy home-dwellers (except me, but I mostly caterwaul in the kitchen) I thought we'd be good for a shy cat.
