I finished my peacock shawl.



It is pinned out and blocking! It is beautiful!

I think Sable now understands that she is a cherished pet. She is quite willing to be stroked, these days, and last night, she came and snuggled between my knees while I knitted - without the protective buffer of Princess Fluffykins, who was on top of the library shelf. It's nice.

Fluffy, of course, recognised months ago that she is the household princess.

I bought the yarns at Fibre East last year, so really, I'm doing quite well to have used them ust a year later. Ahem. I'm now making another asymmetric shawl/scarf with the copious leftovers, and anticipate using the rest of it in my niece's Christmas gift.

Sable is a little sweetheart.
