My Conspiracy worked very well yesterday. Beast and I had another full day rehearsal for our mixed chorus. We were supposed to be getting that BABS judge to come and give us our evaluations and some coaching, but the guy rang at about 8.45 in the morning to say he had Covid - again - and wasn't coming - again.

To be fair, it was probably best all round. We had a very satisfactory day working hard on our ballad and preparing for the concert this coming Friday.

And it was Beast's birthday. So I had conspired with my Bun, who arrived exactly on cue at lunchtime, hid outside the room until I had called Beast down to receive a four-part Happy Birthday, than startled him very much by appearing at the door, bearing a handsome two-tiered cake decorated with lemon butter icing and chocolate music. It was a very good cake, too. Really, I feel a Conspiracy of Cake is a fine thing.

Am now toiling over my Yuletide sign up. Is it weird to ask for five fandoms which I'm not planning to offer?

Is it weird to ask for five fandoms which I'm not planning to offer?

I did a YT poll a while back where a bunch of people said they didn't ask for the same thing they offered or there was just a slight overlap, sometimes with different characters.

Cool. I found I could think of prompts for the ones I'd like to read, tho' I haven't thought of anything to write for any of the fandoms I've offered! Eh, it'll come.

Some of the ones I'd love to receive, I don't think I *could* write.
