I made myself a better earring-storage than the cute little two-decker carousel which was no longer sufficient. It needs a better pole at the top, and I know I have one... somewhere...
Oh yes, and yes indeed. Check back through sparklyukfans and you'll find links to people's reports of Camp Sparkle back in March this year - it'll give you a fair idea of what it's all about.
Of course, nothing can altogether convey the horror that is essence of 'Harry and Max'.
It's a film, really a very very veryvery bad film indeed, in which the two leads are not at all based on Nick and Aaron Carter, no, really, they're not. Koff. nopseud has suggested (see comments to this year's Camp Sparkle announcement) that we must show it, for the benefit of those who were not present at the first Camp Sparkle. Yes.
I watched it last year, with nopseud and ephemera, and nearly died laughing. But I stayed in the kitchen during the Camp Sparkle showing; it was possible to deduce what point in the film had been reached by the moans of dismay from the audience.
I love those earrings too! They're probably the most expensive pair I have, French, from a shop in Covent Garden called something like Les Nereides. (The flowers are actually a pale creamy yellow, something like the background to this text. And the dangly things include tiny ladybirds among the beads. I adore them.)
Such a clever and yet simple idea! I don't have many earrings but I'm definitely recommending this to anyone who does.
You have so many pretty earrings! The gold stars with the blue balls with stars are wonderful - so unusual! And are those dragons to the right and above them?
Now that the earrings are hanging up so that I can see what I've got, perhaps I'll wear them in greater rotation - I tend to wear the big dragons on the bottom row, or the pale yellow flowers with danglies, or fairly plain studs. Yes, there are three silver dragons - I fell in love, lost one of the pair, but managed to buy another pair.
I love those dragons, too. I've had them about ten years - they may even (I can't really remember) have been the incentive I needed actually to get my ears pierced!
I think I probably gleaned it from some decorating magazine or something, but it's a lot more practical than a dust-gathering wooden carousel, and pretty, too.
I'm always amazed when people can fit all of their earrings in one picture. Even more so when they can do that and you can tell what they all look like.
I think I must have seen the idea of hanging them on some kind of holey fabric in a d-i-y design magazine or something like. I really should have got round to it sooner!

What a cool idea though, I need to get mine organized as well.

I *adore* your dragons in the bottom corner - although you have many many pretties!
