(no subject)

In the impulse of a moment I signed my stories up for the DVD Commentary Challenge. I have no idea whether anyone out there might wish to do a commentary on anything I've written, but if you feel inspired, have at it. I shall be flattered.

Oh - Americans, bathroom cabinet, bathroom closet, bathroom cupboard or what? Where do toiletries (etc) get stored?

In regards to the second part, I've always heard it called the medicine cabinet.

Yep, medicine cabinet.

Under the sink? :)
Some people have a closet, other have a medicine cabinet, other just cupboards. Depends on how you're bathroom is set up.

It depends on what you have! I keep mine in the bathroom closet, but if I had a medicine cabinet, that's where they'd go.

Yeah, closet would be built in. If it's a separate unit, it'd be called a cabinet. But a medicine cabinet is like a mirror or a small box attached to the wall by the sink that opens up.

And then there's the bathroom cabinet/counter, which is a little different... there might be doors or drawers beneath the sink, and I call that a cabinet or a counter. Or I'd say like, "The toilet paper is under the sink."

Now I really miss having a medicine cabinet :P

Yeah, some bathrooms have closets you can put toiletries in (there's one at my parent's house which is roughly pantry sized) or you can put it in the cabinet above the sink/counter (usually the mirror being on a hinge opening out). I've heard medicine cabinet, but bathroom cabinet or cabinet above the sink are also acceptable.

To the toiletries question, when I've had a medicine cabinet, it's never been big enough. Too many hair products!) I've always had to have a separate shelf or cabinet put in.

Perhaps I'm dense, but why is it called the DVD challenge?

Ok, I see. (I don't watch a lot of DVDs lol) I was just wondering if it was an abbreviation of something, or make sure that it didn't require making a DVD or something. *embarrassed face* Thanks for clearing that up!
