Now, this is odd. I don't recognise your Wheezer reference and you don't recognise my Joe 90! Joe 90 was a puppet series when I was, hmm, not sure... I spose it must have been before your time. I think it was 'Brains' who wore the oversized, heavy glasses, come to think of it.

Actually they also remind me of National Health specs, the kind that you only got if you couldn't afford nice ones...

Joe 90 is apparently not before my time, but is a British thing. Pity too, because it sounds brilliantly strange! Plus there are puppets!!

Weezer [which I spelled wrong, my bad] is a band who had a huge hit with a song called Buddy Holly. [Buddy Holly isn't in that gap is he? That would be a shame. ] Anyway, enjoy some Weezer, with additional Americana via Happy Days sets and characters. The chorus is what I hear when I see the pictures of Justin.

Ah, I suppose I just assumed that weird SF puppets on TV must have been American. Hmm. Also, I see my initial assumption that Joe 90 wore the glasses was correct! Brains was from Thunderbirds, possibly.

Alas, YouTube refuses to show me the Weezer due to me being a damned furriner. :-(
