On the positive side, Nutella makes very effective bait for a mousetrap.

On the negative side, I would have preferred not to need to know that.

The milkman left us a little sample (shrug) just when we acquired mousetraps which suggested that chocolate was a better lure than cheese. (Well, of course it is!) In any case, I tend to prefer my chocolate spread without overt nut content, so I'm okay with using it as bait.
