Five fictional characters you would shag

Caught a Meaningful Stare from [livejournal.com profile] turloughishere and thought, hmm, interesting, so here is my list of five fictional characters I reckon would be well beddable. In no particular order.

Lord Peter Wimsey - almost too obvious, and I'd expect him to feature on many lists, but the man is a gentleman to his elegant fingertips and knows exactly what he is doing.

Phedre (from Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel trilogy). I'm not altogether sure how this would work, particularly given my complete lack of interest in inflicting pain, but she is *so sexy*. Perhaps a threesome with Joscelin?

Marcus Didius Falco (from Lindsay Davis' series), who is all rumpled and observant. His senator's daughter is obviously a happy woman.

Matthew Gideon, captain of the Excalibur (from 'Crusade'), who has a gorgeous voice and eyes full of promise and does a good shower scene.

Nicholas de Fleury, sometime Claes vander Poele, from Dorothy Dunnett's Niccolo series, cos he's big and strong and adorable and tricky and fabulous in bed.

Well. That's a nice way to start the day. If you, too, wish to ruminate on pleasurable possibilities, pick up the ball.

and does a good shower scene

*snicker* Very important characteristic :-)

And I still haven't read anything by Dorothy Dunnett. I clearly ought to if she has big, strong, adorable, and tricky characters that are good in bed :-)

'Niccolo Rising' it is then. Not that I've anything against angsty aristrocrats in principle but they can be a bit of a trial in some writers' hands. (My friend Eva has already warned me about the making-sure-of-having-lots-of-time-free-to-read :-)
