On Wednesday I wore an orange T-shirt, and two people in quite separate situations told me it suited me.
Orange. Hmm.

At my doctor's appointment she poked a hard, cold thing into my ears and said there was no infection, just wax. Later that afternoon I started feeling dizzy. Spent Thursday in bed (listening to podfic, thank goodness for podfic) with what certainly felt like mild labyrinthitis (mild in that the room did not actually spin, it just slipped sideways). Happily, the doctor had prescribed antibiotics for a UTI, and I am now feeling much better. Can get out of bed, for one thing.

JC's Jesus Christ, Superstar tour has been cancelled. I was looking forward to hearing about the experience from those lucky enough to see it... :-(

It sucks that they canceled the JC tour. Although, I'd be just as happy if they made it into a movie *G*.

A movie would definitely be fun, though it seems unlikely. *woe*

I would guess (although I could be wrong) that they ran out of funding. As unlikely as it would be that they would make a movie, it would at least give them some opportunity to recoup some of their costs. *sigh*

But it sounds like they're just going to cancel and run. I hope everyone who purchased tickets will get a full refund (including the stupid convenience charges) without any hassles.

I know that putting on even an amateur musical is an expensive business—ours cost at least £15,000—but you'd have thought sinking quite a bit of money into cast, script, rehearsals and presumably set-building would have been incentive to keep going and recoup some of it by selling tickets. Perhaps whoever was supposedly organising it got their sums badly wrong.

I think I read somewhere that it was going to cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars each night and I don't think they advertised all that much. I only heard about it here from you and

puszysty. I would have loved to see it and even thought about going downtown alone to do so, but I don't think the timing was the best for me. I would imagine they didn't sell nearly enough tickets to cover their costs. Still a shame they're not thinking *movie* to recoup some money. At this point you'd think rehearsals have been well under way and sets would have been built. Oh well. I hope the cast at least got paid a little something for their time.

Poor JC. :( Maybe his luck would improve if he started wearing his Leo necklace again?
