This world, seriously.
I had an Open House for Oxfam on Wednesday, offering cuppas, biscuits and a chance to chat (and optionally buy some of the Stuff I Have Made). Went quite well, raised over £170, so we'll be sending off a very respectable cheque today (well, two, as we were going to donate anyway). My theatre people, and various from around the neighbourhood, made a good showing, though I was disappointed in the unresponse from people in the knitting group and at the gym. Still, worth doing.
This morning, I discover that a misogynist group is actually attempting to steal money from a long-running charity. Read about it here or here.
A bunch of little girls swearing, to some purpose. It's actually adorable!

Good for you with the fundraiser, though! To get the knitting group involved -- I had, at some point, a pattern for a basic sort of smock for babies in developing countries, whose mums may not have anything else to wrap them in. Shall I see if I can find that for ye?
