We do tend to veer towards the cracky end of the spectrum on our pre-SeSa weekends, although the stories are usually reined back somewhat. A few years ago, *two* stories were birthed from my prompt (which I was agonising over at the time) of "post-apocalyptic vampires with romance". My story was 'for this world to be unbroken' and nopseud's was 'Temperance'.
The pink fairy armadillos were a Thing that Nopseud was interested in—she would have loved to find a taxidermy example of a pink fairy armadillo, but couldn't. The turkipede, however, somehow emerged from the crazy ideas being tossed around as we wondered how Tony Stark's team of scientists would do Christmas, and it was *awesome* indeed.

It's pretty handy living on a small island.
