By the way, I'm going to be tagging posts which mention The Situation with 'covid-19', so if you are trying to avoid an overload, that should help.

I'm trying to do a bit in the garden, after our home yoga sessions. So I'm doing small, manageable pieces. In my two sessions so far I have weeded, dug and added compost to three of the cold frames. I suppose the next project might be the odd-shaped potato patch. I'm not really a gardener, but I can do a bit of grunt work, and it adds to the exercise regimen. I don't think FIL can manage it any more, and if I want there to be fresh veg this summer—which I do—I'm going to have to put in some forkwork. In truth, I'm not sure how much of a contribution it will be to FIL's wellbeing and activities, as he is able to do less and less. And apparently does not have the sense to take off his jacket when he is too hot, but that's another matter.

Are you getting dressed, these days? I've been reading things by people who stay in their pyjamas all day, even for work meetings, or are not wearing anything but underwear on their bottom half, or whatever… I'm sticking to my usual routine of putting on fresh and reasonably respectable clothes—not even going with the elasticated waist yoga pants, at least not very often. Like the discipline of exercising at ten in the morning, it's good for me. I'm fortunate to have a Beast about the place, because without him it would be so very easy to lapse into a loafish state.

This site appears to be Good News About Covid-19 That You May Not Have Seen. So, yay?

I've been embroidering on a rather exciting piece of textured felt that I bought quite a while back. It's basically done, and I want to mount it against a rich dark orange sari which I have had for years (it used to be a window embellishment). But I can't find the sari.

So your question for today is, where did I put that sari material? Suggestions welcome!

many days I've not bothered to get dressed - and those are often the days I'm less productive. so it's probably a good idea

the sari material is in a box (or bag) at the bag of a closet or under a bed

I'm not working from home so I have no routine. I'm just home. I'm one of the pajama people though I have Day Pajamas and Night Pajamas. I did order yoga pants though.

I'm guessing...in a box so it won't get dirty or dusty and put away on a shelf or in a closet for safekeeping.

I always get dressed, if I don't I tend to waste the day big time and I'm trying to do more than just stay on the couch watching tv or be in front of my computer.

I love having fresh homegrown veggies, but man, you put the effort in for them.

As for the sari, I suspect your kitties are using it on a night when they go out on the tiles. They share it, and argue who looks the best wrapped in the rich fabric.

I do get out of my pyjamas, but I never wear jeans at home anyway. At home I usually have a sweatshirt/t-shirt and sweatpants on (a jersey dress in summer). So I'm dressed for the day, but not the same way I would dress when I leave the house.

If I stay in my pyjamas, I end up going back to bed. So I change out of pyjamas, unless back to bed is the actual *plan* for the day (witness today).

If I want to have veggies this summer, I need to get some seeds in! And weed those beds so I've a place to put them. Oh, the neverendings. . .

I vote the sari is in the bottom drawer of your desk. Why? Why not. *g*

Manageable chunks are absolutely the best strategy! I hope you get a good crop this summer.

I am getting dressed, though I'm allowing myself to wear more casual clothes than I would have worn into the office. But taking a shower and putting on clothes that I could be seen in in public are key to starting the day off well, for me.

I always get dressed properly in the morning like I would if I still had a job to go to. It's the only way I've found to survive being home all day for this many years without becoming a total shut-in. And in the evening I change into a sweatshirt & pyjama pants just like I would if I got home from work. I like routines :-)

Good luck with the garden work! And with finding that sari! Have you checked all cupboards and wardrobes in the spare bedrooms?

Omg, opposite, opposite! I've gone full feral over here. I know I must look terrible, but I feel so free! Bras?? What are those??

(I admire you for not giving in to the yoga pants, however. You've got a will of iron.)
