Icon banners, mostly

I finished watching 'Rome' series one last night, fabulous stuff, although spectacularly icky in places. It's *so* *beautiful*, and quite fascinating, and the way stuff came together... Have ordered series two, which comes out on DVD early next month. Yay.

I seem to have dominated the Lance challenge lately, basically because nearly everybody else seems to be on holiday.

Also using my newly-made textures for the Chasez challenge:

And Mod's choice for the Nsync challenge:

This week's Lance challenge was to make images from the fabulous, fabulous cover pic for Lance's book. I'd already posted a bunch, but it turned out I could manage a few more.

Much more competition for the Nsync challenge, though.

Congratulations!

I especially like the second lot of Lance icons.

I like the Joey icon especially! Though I have to say I sometimes find the banners a bit distracting...

Congratulations!!

I really like the blue/greenish Lance icon from challenge # 37, it was my favourite in that round, and the Joey icon is so pretty!

Weee

They look amazing! I don't know how Joey's icon didn't get first place. He looks hot! And Chris...I'm falling for that man _O_

Congratulaitons, hon!

Congratulations on the icons!

I loved the first series of Rome, but I somehow didn't enjoy the second quite as much. It's still really, really good, but the loss of Ciaran Hinds as Caesar leaves a gap in the characters and it never seems to get back the momentum and sense of a central focus he brings to it. In a way that's part of the story, but it's still unfortunate.

Pullo and Vorenus continue to be awesome, however. :-)
