We seem to be having quite a bit of Weather today. Not **Extreme Weather**, but an apparently random selection veering from heavy rain to bright sunshine and a completely blue sky, back again to the rain, and now the sky is pale and clear again. All between ten this morning and now, three-thirty. No wonder we British talk about the weather a lot.
The MTYG Author reveals are up, so you can now see that I wrote two stories: clear my eyes and doin' this tonight, or maybe in the morning. It took me quite a while to figure out how 'clear my eyes' was to end, and I did wonder whether I should produce two alternatives, but mercifully the story worked itself out as I was writing it—just as well, as it was a wee bit late getting submitted. The second story was comparatively easy, as I just had to review what the various guys said about the VMAs thing, and then let Joey get drunk and do the job for me. Much fun!
It was Randomling who wrote the big picture for me, continuing my fortunate run of lovely SeSa stories. It's an AU in which Lance and Chris are in a long term relationship (purrrrr) and Chris manages to pull out the necessary stops to be the romantic Lance needs him to be, and I'm very happy with it.
Cheers to everyone who participated, as writer, reader, feedbacker, and especially to Nopseud, heroic Elf-in-Chief.
