For no particular reason, I've found a few pretty icons which I thought I'd share.

wizzicons has made a rather tasty set of Sean Bean icons here.

There are some moody, unusual ones here, mostly monochrome, very interesting.

Icons made using art by Lord Frederick Leighton are here, and very classy.

Finally, an interesting collection, some very attractive b/w or slightly sepia place icons (eg London, Paris) and some fun artwork in jolly colours - like the one I'm using for this post. They are here.

The first artist of the set which you're using here really reminds me of Shira's art work...
