The story is a real-world AU, or possibly an alternate timeline, in which Adam is an aspiring actor, and Lance is a TV producer wanting to run his own show. There are various appearances by friends and associates of both. It basically starts around the time American Idol started.

It's a continuation of my Bouquet universe, in which Adam and Lance are in an established relationship. In the run-up to Christmas, Adam thinks Lance is going to invite him to spend the holiday in Mississippi. He's even talked himself into accepting.
But he's wrong. Lance is going to ask if he wants a threesome.

Being as how I cannot write *anything* at the moment, I'm amazed I managed to come up with two ficlets as a result. Thanks toraynedanser for the beta. See if you can guess the songs.
