It's my Something Like August day today, so here is fic.

I haven't entirely forgotten that I signed up for the wtf27 challenge. One of the prompts is 'Fuck or die'. Not one of my favourite notions, but I started thinking about it, and very soon got a notion. Which was crack for, oh, five minutes at most. The resultant story came out of a lot of stuff I gathered by reading here, there and everywhere. As you'll figure from the prompt, there are dub-con issues, if you don't like them, you may not want to read.

The story only got to an end yesterday, and hasn't been beta'd, so if anything seems out of whack or unclear please let me know. It was nice to wake up to a good laugh this morning. I really think my radio was telling me that someone is recommending that the Bush administration consider inviting Syria and Iran to take over 'peacekeeping' in Iraq. Bwahahaha! However, I then turned over and went back to sleep, so perhaps it was a dream.

My Bun communicated with us last night (yay!), telephoning to wish her Dad a happy birthday. He had a restrained day, but was inundated with cheese... I had suggested to my FIL that select cheese would be a welcome gift, and BIL obviously thought so too. We have already eaten the Gorgonzola and the Brie. Cheese good.

And it is, of course, Chris Kirkpatrick's birthday, which is my excuse for why what's under the cut has not been beta'd by anyone. Sorry about that. I did think up a load of warnings to burden it with (for example, 'Not Strictly Popslash'), but what the hell. Read at your own risk, as usual.
