I like the idea that I can establish a tradition by doing something once... but it is nice to be able to fit it in to two appropriate days, I think.

I'm perfectly happy to have a WIP - I know very well that it's a lot easier to get down to the business of working on a story when there is a deadline, so I have every sympathy. I'm sure people can keep it to themselves if they *know* who wrote a story - I like the 'anonymous feedback' aspect of challenges with an author reveal, though it isn't a crucial matter. Oh, I'm going to develop a more satisfactory method of sending feedback this year. So, yes, as far as I'm concerned, your WIP is very welcome.
