Date: 2007-09-10 04:06 pm (UTC)I use Save As... in Photoshop when I want to save as png*. I had no idea you could do it any other way, now I must experiment with that to see if I notice any difference.
* If I want jpg files I never save them directly in Photoshop because it's crap at making jpgs. I save as png and then I open the png file in Graphic Converter and save as jpg there, it gives me much better control over compression and quality.
