I get this idea, and all these scenes, and then I write it down and it turns into something drivelly and nowhere near as wonderful as it was in my head and I have to keep reading it and fiddling and trying to make it work and it won't and dammit, I don't want to write it.
That's amazing, how perfectly you've described my writing process. It's like you're in my head, or something.
