As the sparkle slowly fades...
May. 18th, 2009 10:50 pmWell, I'm back, and after two long meetings about the theatre (five *hours* in total!), pretty much back to normal. (sigh) No more sparkly folk in my house, alas, though I do have about seven pounds of cheese in the fridge, and a small mirror with 'paris' on the handle in the bathroom. I'm fairly confident (and relieved) that there wasn't a Paris in the house at any time, but one of you must have mislaid a mirror.
So, Camp Sparkle is all over bar the accounting and the, ah, recording of the Add Five Words 'story'. Which falls to my lot. You may also be amused to learn that in a week of minibus, I managed to forget how to drive my own car. It was particularly interesting when I put it into 'reverse' and shot forward, but fortunately the brake is in the same place on both vehicles so I did not in fact crash into the garage door.
I can now sing the chorus to 'Title of the Song' with appropriately emphatic facial expressions.
Well. I feel it is probably time to remind you that the Dragon Challenge stories are due early in June, and that even if you have not yet signed up, there is still time for you to write something! Dragons, Dwarves, Dolphins and Diamonds, really, you're spoilt for choice.
