(no subject)

I've just been reading something on eHell which prompts me to this: if you ever randomly and unexpectedly receive a gift from me, it's not something to be reciprocated. It happens, sometimes! It is most likely either something I saw and thought, ooh, perfect for X, or something I created and wanted to find a recipient for. Either way, a free gift!

I was supposed to go to a funeral today, but it snowed all morning and the person who was picking me up could not get up their hill. As I have a nasty cold, it's probably just as well not to inflict my company on them in the close confines of a car. Ironically the sky is now a clear and perfect blue, but everything is still icy.

ETA: in the event practically everybody from hereabouts failed to get there, nearly including the vicar, who was more than an hour late. I have no word on whether the deceased made it...

Going to see our panto tonight, and, joy! I don't have to do box office. I dare say a bunch of people won't show up because of the snow, so it's just as well if the person who's been getting the phone calls stays in charge.

MTYG story... nears completion. \o/ Meanwhile I am becoming very good at Beleaguered Castle. Mighty are my powers of procrastination!
