(no subject)

Went out for a meal with some friends we haven't seen in ages, and had a very pleasant evening and a most delicious meal in a Moroccan restaurant. I don't think I've ever tried a Moroccan restaurant before, but we shall go again. My lamb shank was served in a lovely tagine that kept it bubbling hot for ages.

I woke this morning to the discovery that I'd forgotten to take out my earrings last night—little pearl studs. Well, there was one earring in place, the other ear was empty. I discovered the missing earring in my bed with the butterfly still on the stalk. Hmm.

February Fanfic Day 8: Stylistic Variation

A story that is presented in an unusual way.

There is a shocking dearth of people in popslash who choose to present their stories in (say) blank verse, so here is one which is part diary. Awake My Soul by glitterdragon, written for last year's MTYG. Loving and very sweet.
