Nov. 17th, 2017 07:51 pmDear me, I need to get out of the habit of composing posts mentally and then forgetting to post anything. Or, perhaps, get an interactive chip inserted into my brain—if anyone can discern my brain through the layers of phlegm filling my head.
Ew.
Anyway, time for a Christmas Card post. I Failed at Christmas last year, only a very privileged few got a card from me at all, but this year I am all set to Do Christmas Properly. I will be cooking the dinner in my shiny new kitchen, so Bun can have the day off!
Anyway, if you'd like a card from me, please leave your name and address here. Comments are screened. If you strongly prefer to have a religious Christmas card, or vehemently prefer not to, please say. Otherwise you will get something anodyne with a tree, or suchlike. In previous years I have tried to send out hand-made cards, but after two years without being able to create any, my stock is rather low. When I have written my SeSa story, finished knitting a sweater for my niece and Kitchenered together the armpits of the sweater for my nephew, bought all the Christmas presents, shopped and worked out the meals, sung in four singouts and generally done All The Things, I may have an opportunity to sit down and do some more painting. Which I sorely miss! But for the moment, most of the cards I send out will be bought cards. But sent with love!
And if you have a reciprocal post which I have failed to spot, do alert me to it. I like getting cards, particularly when there is room in the house to display them.
