A miscellany
Dec. 28th, 2017 09:25 amIn between reading the MTYG stories (I try to make them last, so that I can say to myself, I still have Moar Stories to read) I have come upon a few fun links.
How to tell your kids about Santa isn't exactly relevant to my life because (a) I don't think it ever came up, with my two, and (b) it's FATHER CHRISTMAS; however, it does seem a delightful way to help a child grow up gracefully.
There was an entry in one of the Not Always Right categories which made me think, Ew, and I did what one is generally advised not to do, I read the comments. And the comments were *extremely* heartening.
Then there's the Twitter entry on the Nativity scenes in England's Cathedrals. It is… it's a lot less stuffy than you might expect. If you scroll down far enough, there's a Cat Jesus. Also a dinosaur.
A truly impressive Grade 8 sex test. I'm not sure I can answer all the questions, but it looks like an *excellent* grounding.
*
I think I might even be capable of flexing my writing muscles again, now that MTYG has given them a bit of a workout. So if any of you figure out what I wrote, I will write you a ficlet of your choice. Offer excludes betas, natch. And I won't confirm or deny anything until The Reveal - meanwhile, comments are screened Just In Case!
