Apr. 6th, 2018 02:44 pmI have discovered a new treat for people who visit me here in Norwich: Langham Glass. The four of us - self, Beast, FIL and BIL - went over to Fakenham today to have a look, and were treated to a really interesting look at how glass objects are made. The two guys produced a teardrop shaped, uh, Thing, a little dog, a robin, a flower-like glass bowl, and started working on another teardrop before we left them to it and went to browse through the shop filled with beautiful glass objects.
Next time, I think I'm going to want to have a go myself. Which can be done, for a surprisingly small fee.

I am *so* knackered after today's Double Trouble. We did 15 seconds-worth of each exercise, but of course it was much more complicated than that. And there were so very many of them.

Princess Fluffykins is now officially the Mighty Hunter of the Dreamies Packets.
The first time we found a shredded and emptied Dreamies packet, I remembered having left it on the TV table instead of returning it to the high shelf in the library. My bad.
The second time we found a shredded and emptied Dreamies packet, I assumed I must have left it on the TV table instead of returning it to the high shelf in the library.
But... when I heard strange noises from the library and then spotted Princess trotting behind the sofa with a very full Dreamies packet firmly clamped in her mouth, I *knew* it had been on the shelf. I managed to retrieve it before it was shredded. Princess Fluffykins was not pleased.
We are still trying to train her to use the cat flap. She has been through it a couple of times, but is Very Suspicious.
Meanwhile, Sable will let me stroke her tummy, but not her back.
