Jun. 3rd, 2019 10:44 pmChorus stuff still dominates: coaching day on Saturday - very good, lots of deconstruction of chords and fresh POV, but it's hard work! Then meeting of mixed chorus on Sunday, with bring & share lunch, which we decided was our first AGM. Good stuff. Also Beast is now treasurer and has spent most of today researching possible online bank accounts.

Sable has learned to come in through the cat flap! Baby steps, as Beast tethers it open during the day (I do hope no interloper cats take advantage), and she won't go out through it for some reason, but she has several times used it to get back inside.
We seemed to have lost Fluffy for a while, but she was trapped inside Grandpa's bedroom, making a stout attempt to tunnel her way out through the carpet.

A fledgling something, possibly a jay? caused some shenanigans during the day when it got itself into the garage and hid under our car. I rolled the car carefully out and attempted to scoop the bird into a dustpan but it hid under Grandpa's car instead (in the wheel) and was poked out unceremoniously with a stick and scrambled off to hide under the holly. Good luck, determined little bird.

I have a dozen insect bites around my left armpit. *sigh*
