it seems like years since it's been here
Sep. 24th, 2024 09:19 pmWhile (unwisely, I know, I know) browsing one of those stores that impose themselves on my Instagram, I discovered luminous fishnet stockings.
I cannot, sadly, imagine an occasion on which I might need luminous fishnet stockings.
Is there an occasion for such?

Beast and I, and several fellow chorus members, spent Saturday in Ipswich at a Sing Together day run by the local mixed chorus. It was a lot of fun. We worked on Here Comes The Sun—which I posted about a little over a week ago, the one with the insane time signatures—and it ended up sounding pretty good. The day included a bit of 'afterglow', or, more exactly, 'after-lunch-glow', when the different choruses represented there all had the chance to sing a couple of songs for the audience. Well, that meant the local Ipswich chorus, plus three Norfolk choruses and a Norfolk quartet. And later, there was a general call to sing the Java Jive, which I could not answer but several of the chaps did. A very satisfactory day.

Today we have visited a Bathroom & Kitchen place that we may engage to render our family bathroom more glamorous and functional. Although, they want a 50% deposit when we decide to give them the job, another 40% before they start, and 10% when they are done, which seems deeply suspicious to me. I mean. 90% of the money before they even show up to do the job? Hmmmmmm.
We also had lunch in the pub and drank raspberry beer, or was it strawberry beer? Either way it was very pretty with its pink head, and jolly tasty too.
