Stuff, and getting rid of it

So I was listening to some of my popslash collection this afternoon, as I worked on the banners for this week's
severalplums winners (see below, ahem), and this prim person came on telling one of my stories, as my Chronicles recordings are in the same file as all the others. It's very strange listening to Me.
We got rid of humungous piles of Stuff this morning—first, a car-full to sundry charity shops, of which there are many in town, then later, three bin bags of video tapes, a cot mattress, a *bunch* of recyclable paper and sundry defunct electrical items, including two besodden keyboards. And went to the gym, *and* my most excellent Beast has put up shelves in the sitting room to hold the revamped collection of DVDs. All this is not to say there isn't Stuff lying about—for starters, there's an old iMac to be donated to my Adorable Niece and Nephew, plus a few videos and a box of Lego; also Bun has a quantity of Stuff of her own which apparently will go to Norwich with her in the autumn, assuming we can hire a pantechnicon. And I haven't disposed of the ironing yet, or properly tidied up the lounge in anticipation of the sparkly invasion at the weekend, yay, but still. This is Good Going.
Speaking of my sister, which I wasn't exactly but she is the parent of Adorable Niece and Nephew, her empire has recently expanded to include two splendid barn conversions which are available for holiday lets. They're in a very pretty part of Devon, and the barns look really good—take a look at the Bridge Farm and Barns website. (Warning, it takes rather a long time to load because of the pretty pics.) If you or anyone you know is considering a holiday in Devon, think about this place! They've only just opened, so there are plenty of opportunities for last-minute bookings.
Sadly, my regular sparkly icon challenges have gone on hiatus (hmm) but I have won the last couple of
severalplums challenges, koff, so here are my banners.
