pensnestI have been using the Written? Kitten! page to help me keep going with my Dragon Big Bang fic - rough draft of 5,000 words is due at the end of the month, and until yesterday I had not written *anything*. But kittens are a useful incentive, and so is seeing the word count rising. 1,480! And I have ideas, and everything. Not that they add up to a story yet, but I wrote something terribly clever quite by accident yesterday, and only noticed it as I was getting ready for bed, so there is hope. Maybe I can remember how to do this.
It's a relief to have created *something*. Otherwise the year's creative output has been entirely knitting and gardening, and while these things are worthy, there's a reason I chose to call myself Pen.
