The heucheras in my raised bed at the side of the drive are looking very splendid indeed and threatening to come into flower quite soon. These three—well, the little yellow-leafed one might be giving up—were going to be over-grown by the mighty shrub that bursts into life and magenta flowers in the early summer, so I thought they could have a more prominent home. I like heucheras too.
Do you happen to have any idea what a little shrub whose leaves smell of mint and which makes incredibly bright magenta flowers might be? The garden people planted it (two, indeed, slightly different sized flowers) and I don't know what they are!
