Minced lamb browned with onion and garlic, and simmered with red wine, tomato puree, cinnamon and chopped parsley; squeezed and fried-in-olive-oil aubergines; cheese sauce, and a topping of grated cheese to give it a yummy crust when it was all put together and baked. Trouble is, it takes a while to prepare and not very long at all to eat!
