I seem to have chosen one of the least snowy parts of the country to be in this week. We did have snow, quite a bit fell yesterday (er, Thursday, as I see the clock has ticked past midnight), but on the side of this particular Devon hill, it wasn't much. Unfortunately, I lack the proper equipment for enjoying it. I came here with hand luggage only, not including wellies, mighty gloves or a serious woolly hat, and therefore declined to go out and try sledging with my Bro-in-Law and Adorable Niece this afternoon.

Sister and I managed to go to the gym on Wednesday. We dropped AN at school, and when we got to the gym (an offshoot of a hotel in the countryside) had a fabulous view over hills and fields. The near hills were beige and light green, dusted with 'icing sugar' snow, and beyond them the Moors rose stark white agains the blue sky. Beautiful. AN was very grumpy to find that school was cancelled for Thursday and Friday, as she is getting very bored here. Although she has been helping me learn my new songs.

I do hope Flybe is up to speed again for Monday. I want to go home and see my pussycats. Er, and my Beast, of course.

Glad to hear that the weather hasn't been too disruptive for you directly - hope the floods also skip you all! The view from the gym sounds beautiful.
