That makes a lot of sense. When we could scroll through our friends lists and see comments like, I wish there were more of X pairing, or, I love stories with a such-and-such 'kinklet', it was easy to be inspired. MTYG went on for a long time after the popslash conversation had basically ceased.

These days, a lot of challenges seem to be in the form of the kink meme that apparently takes place within comments. I've never really been able to make sense of that style, which makes me sad.
