Edit: and that’s not the only thing to underline the fact that this meme is American. Yes, it’s supposed to be silly and fun but it also is endearingly America-cetric which kinda makes it even more fun.

So there’s no real need to start lecturing how we, non-Americans, should instinctively be in the know of what some very American terms mean. Unless, of course, you mean to imply that only the ones who Understand the Lingo are allowed to pass this on.
