Would you believe it? My daughter got married, and I wasn't even there. In fact, I didn't even know about it until I read my email next morning...

Oh well.

You may be assured, however, Bun would not dare to deprive her beloved Mama of the opportunity to purchase a new Hat; this was an online wedding between her WoW avatar Lessa (a troll, I believe?) and, um, someone else. Presumably a fellow-troll. How distressing it is to know so little of one's virtual son-in-law.

I've seen one of these World of Warcraft weddings - or at least, a bit of one - as my husband 'attended' one a few months ago. They are all mad.
