Preening and griping.

Well, I'm feeling very organised today, as I have spent pretty much the whole morning rationalising my Photoshop brushes. Thank goodness it's easy to change file names. I now have them sorted by category so that they actually show up on my screen by category. Pride!

It remains to be seen whether I will *actually* be able to find what I want, but at least I have a chance now.

Meanwhile, I've been slowly re-watching The West Wing from the beginning, and increasingly cross about something I didn't notice first time round. It is this. When Josh was recruited to join the Bartlet campaign, he was working with Hoynes, the respectable front-runner candidate. Sam was negotiating a multi-million dollar deal and about to be promoted within his top-notch law firm. CJ... was fired from her job and fell fully clothed into her swimming pool. When Charlie Young first met the President, he solved a problem. When Ainsley Hayes first met the President, she was bopping about in a bath robe. (How come none of the men sat on the wet paint, hmm?) When Leo embarrassed himself with the intimidating reporter, he made a comment about her shoes. When Sam ditto, he mixed up the names of two beginning-with-K ex-Russian republics. Donna? Her underwear fell out of her trousers.

Hmph.

Yes - it's a fascinating show, and very intelligently done, and so well acted that I adore *all* the characters. It was just this thing leaped out at me this time through, the whole different level of embarrassment and humiliation in directly comparable situations.

TWW also leads me to boggle, often as not, at the American political system, but that's another story!
