So, dinner out with my musical theatre group, very nice time, quite a lot more red wine than is my wont. Very agreeable. Boy didn't take much persuading to provide me with coffee when I got home, happily, and I had probably best quaff much water before bed.

Posted a 'how to make textures' tutorial to icon_tutorial today, but no doubt it will be lost in the morass of selective colouring tuts and requests for things morons should be able to do which are really quite simple. Whatever. I made pretties.

I shall take this opportunity to *pout* over the world-wide conspiracy to deny me a pair of floral Doc Martens. While Bun and I were shopping earlier this week, we both fell in love with shoes, she with some DCs with a Chinese pattern, I with black ankle boots covered in teeny tiny flowers. And neither available in size 8, which is not an unreasonable size, dammit! I want my kickass boots. I even investigated a thousand websites and ordered a pair, only to get an email this morning telling me blithely that they did not after all have my size and did not expect to get them in. And the small pair, taunting me with their flowery kickassiness in our local Sole Trader - hah. The sales assistant assured me that when they order, they order in, and I quote, "thousands", and could not possibly order in a pair of 8s for me. Tosser.

So, I haz no boots. But I haz purple hair! Go me.

Mooooooooo. Somebody write me Lance/Alan fic. See here! This should exist, and since I was smitten with a perfect sparklycasting of my favourite musical - because I didn't have *enuff* stories queueing up to be written, hah! - I wish someone to write it for me. Sparkly smut, yo!

Possibly I should stop posting now. Aren't you impressed by my typing-while-tipsy?

Oh yay for the purple hair (now I'm imagining you as Tonks). And I understand the pain of the lack of pretty docs. They never come in my size either and people are MEAN about it.

Specifically if you've got Lance as Miss Adelaide (I adore Miss Adelaide completely)... which would hopefully make Chris Nathan Detroit (cos that's perfect). I can see Justin as Sarah but no idea who'd be Sky Masterson.

Unless you have JC as Miss Adelaide and Lance as Sky?

Yes, Lance as Adelaide and Chris as Nathan. JC is Sarah, sweet and earnest, and Joey is Sky. Justin is Nicely Nicely, all ready to leap in and divert attention from Chris when something dodgy is going on. (I know he couldn't sing it, though!)

I think Kevin might well be Big Jule, and Brian the cop, with Howie as Uncle Arvid. Not sure if Nick and AJ fit in there...

I'd love to see Joey in 'Guys and Dolls', one day. Right now, he'd be a lovely Sky, but I think he has the comic timing to make a really good Nathan in a few years' time.
