A Man for All Seasons
Oct. 23rd, 2005 12:16 pmI took my men to see A Man for All Seasons yesterday. This was a good move. The Beast had politely refrained from mentioning that he'd much rather be playing World of Warcraft than going to see a play, and afterwards admitted that mine was the better choice. It really is a terrific play, and was very well done. Martin Shaw played Thomas More - very well indeed, I should add - and his daughter was played by one Sophie Shaw. Very moving stuff, and 'gripping', as my Beast said. Even the Boy acknowledged that it was interesting, high praise considering the source. In the car on the way home, we had some good discussion of integrity and how inconvenient it can be, though this (inevitably) turned into an information session on computer security. I guess that's no bad thing.
And this morning, another banner for me! Woot.

Am enjoying very much the commemorative NSYNC postings. Nothing to contribute, myself, since - dear me - I've only been on LJ since, um, April, and only really registered the existence of sparkly dancing boys in, oh, March. Consider me all asquee.
