Outtake from an unwritten story

Perhaps I shouldn't say, 'unwritten', as there are bits in existence here and there (here being here, and there being the laptop downstairs), and it definitely isn't being abandoned. But this little scene (two scenes? three scenes?) isn't going to fit into that story, and I'm too pleased with it to let it languish on the hard drive. And it has been fluttering about in my head for a while. It's kinda fun, I think. Also, not a pairing I've seen before! No Trickyfish for you today.
