in a hell of a rush

I am not clear why, exactly, an explosion in an oil depot should bugger my cable modem and TV service, but buggered they certainly are, and the fire is NTL's excuse. As my man is away on a bonding exercise with his Team, I have no technical opinion to hand, so I shall continue to sneer. Meanwhile, I must compose offline anything I wish to post, and hope the flickers of connection hold long enough for me to get to my LJ. Probably won't be able to post my *beautiful* b/w icons for the current Lance challenge. More importantly, may have to Take Steps to get my SeSa story where it needs to be, if this state of affairs continues much longer.

I think I need to be able to display about five different aspects of Mood here. I am still coughing helplessly. I have no Beast available for cuddle duty. There's a huge black smoke cloud over the house. Christmas is coming, and I'm not ready yet. Hence the current choice: 'ganz offgepissed'. I need chocolate. Though in fairness, the Boy is taking his current role as sole source of household cuddles quite well, I am quite pleased with the current state of my SeSa story, and I may yet manage to finish the woolly I am knitting as a Christmas present.

Have been able to read enough of my flist to note the icons meme thingy. Thought, why not.
