Dear me. It has been quite the productive day. Car taken off for service and MOT; someone here to measure the house for a floor plan; someone here to measure the house for EPC (energy efficiency rating). Garage emptied, swept of carpet debris—yes, I'm afraid we used to line the garage floor with old carpet—and reloaded; garden meanwhile considerably pruned, weeded and tidied. And, the estate agent seemed to be quite keen to get the place on the market, but we are holding off until we've re-visited the one we think we might want.
Gosh.
