i'll never see my girl again

I went back to Hemel on Monday, came back yesterday, for the funeral of a dear friend, only seven years older than me and dead way too soon from recurrent cancer. It was a good funeral, and I was privileged to be one of those able to attend—there were fifty guests allowed, but she could easily have had four times that, if not for restrictions. She was lovely, and much loved.

5. Profit???? I hope so! Having spent quite a bit of this hot afternoon putting plants into veg beds. I hope they will get enough sunshine. I hope they will grow. I hope they will produce!

We shall see.

I haven't really been following the Thing A Day thing, but Day 8: Crack!fic - well, I've been waiting for this one. Because I love crack.We all know it. (And I wasn't home for most of yesterday so didn't post it then.)

What's your opinion of it, and if you want, show us an example.

I see that "we all know it", but I'm not entirely sure that we all have the same thing in mind.( Read more... )
